This is news that makes me super, super, super EXCITED!  Any time Colin Firth and Rupert Everett get together in film is a reason to party.  Let alone the fact that Emily Watson is co-starring (the woman can do no cinematic wrong).  This is film heaven.

I had heard that this was happening before, and this article made me jump even higher.  If Rupert asked me to marry him today, I would happily say, "YES!" and then ask for a cameo in this film.  Ask?  No, I would demand it!

If Oscar season comes around and this film isn't nominated for at least one award, I will declare SHENANIGANS!  Yes, as South Park often declares....there will be complete and utter SHENANIGANS on Hollywood.

MySpace....You Still Got Yours? Just wondering...

I deleted my MySpace QUITE a while ago.  I just felt that it was time.  There were porno chicks and whores filling up my inbox with computer-generated messages, and it was just getting old and it was TIME to let it go.  However, I am beginning to think twice about my decision.

I am beginning to remember how FUN it was to design my page with clips of the music that I loved.  I could attach pictures of all the beautiful people (at least on the outside they were pretty pretty....get it?). So, now, I look at Facebook, with it's new TIMELINE fu**ing feature, which drives me up the FUC*ING wall, and I wonder which social media is better?

You may be quick to answer.....BUT I want you to remember the music.  I have never encountered a site more geared towards the advancement of new artists and existing artists.  I never had a hard time finding songs that I just felt like listening to.  And, I never had to go to another site to download them.  MySpace allowed you to listen to them whenever, and wherever, you wanted.  It REALLY WAS a great way to find what you wanted, whenever you wanted it.

Your personal page was just that.  It was able to become very personal, with your own design.  Can you do that on Facebook?  NO, not really.  You can update your status with your current desires, however they disappear within seconds.  MySpace allowed you to keep it just where you wanted.  Why can't Facebook allow that sort of personal creativity?  Just sayin'...

Is that what the Timeline is supposed to be?  Well, it's not.  It's just an annoyance, in my opinion.  I have deleted two of my FB accounts, merely due to the fact that it changes more than a whore changes her underwear.  I have YET to update to that fuc*ing Timeline, because it just looks busy.  As Dolly Parton said, busier than a one-legged man in a butt-kicking contest....and, I'm not having it.  Fuc* that.

I'm not saying that Facebook should be the new MySpace.  I'm saying, didn't we ALL enjoy MySpace a bit more?  It seems that we had a LOT more at our fingertips.  Legal or not, the MUSIC was there.  All FB has to offer is the fact that the creator is making a HELL of a lot money off of us using it.  Sounds a lot like PH BALANCE (what I will refer to Perez Hilton as from this point on).

I know that MySpace became Hook-UpSpace, but come on....who doesn't like a good hook-up once in while?  At least the hook-up didn't come with a fuc*ing Timeline!  LOL!  Just saying...

Having just recently graduated from a Master program (feeling the ramifications of doubt and debt myself right now), I wanted to read about what others are going through.  This article made me feel a bit better, realizing that some of these kids have it far worse than I.

Seriously, when is our nation going to put some value in education by ensuring jobs for it's citizens that have WORKED hard for the degrees that they earned?  It seems, these days, graduates finish school only to realize that the job market stinks and they're going to have to fight just to be seen for the worst positions on the planet.  Why is that exactly?

I think that the next Presidential elections will be important because of this very issue.  Let's take a deeper look at Romney and see just how he plans on improving the employment situation.  Oh wait....he's rich.  He don't give a shi* about us.  I saw today that he's worth $200 million.  That can't be right....or is it?

MDNA - My Thoughts, Your Thoughts

I have a friend (you know who you are...PETE) who had one thing to say about Madonna's newest album, MDNA.  He said (three times, not in a row), "You know, her sales are horrible," or something to that effect.  It was effective the first time that he said it, but after the third it got me thinking.  Is it true?  I mean, I went to Best Buy and bought it.  Her other fans had to do the same, or at least go the easiest route and click "Buy" on Amazon (in at least one of the purchasing choices that it offers).

In part, he was right.  Rollingstone even wrote an article on the fact that MDNA is now known as the album with the largest drop in 2nd week sales ever.  However, reading the article made me realize (once again) that Madonna is one of the SMARTEST artists out there.  She attached the sale of her album directly to the sales of her tour tix.  Smart, smart, smart woman.  She puts on the best shows of any artist, and WHY NOT offer your new album along with your new show?  Fair is fair.  If the fans are buying the tix for the show, why wouldn't they just purchase the album at the same time.  Twice as nice, right?  Take that, Pete.

My blog is probably turning into one of the GAYEST ever, but that's ok.  ALSO, even at her lowest sales, her music proves to be the best dance music offered by even the NEWEST artists.  How long has she been making music?  Take that newbies.  She's in her 50's and still kickin' major ass.

Drew Barrymore got married, and her husband is a CUTIE-PATOOTIE!  Jealousy is killing me!  I have adored her, literally, forever because we were born the same year (both on the 22nd of the month).  I shall not admit to my age, but you can find hers.  LOL.  Charlie's Angels (the films) were kickass.  I am still holding out that the trio will converge once again for a third film.  That is, of course, after she has her baby.  That kid is going to be sooooooo friggin' cute.  See the two above and imagine the crossing gene pools.  Lovely.

Jack Osbourne was on The View...no The Talk today to talk about his diagnosis with MS.  This is REALLY sad news, as the birth of his first child is still very recent.  I can only imagine what his family is going through with this news.   I wish him all the health in the world so that he can enjoy watching his new child grow up!
